In Chicago

 We made it to Chicago!
Kyle and I had to sit separately on the flight to O’Hare Airport. I was in the midst of tourists from Shanghai wearing armwarmers. When the stewardess came around for drinks, she completely ignored me, despite my giving her the stink-eye, and then waving my hand and saying “Excuse me.”

She was too busy serving the armwarmered Asians cran-apple juice.

Now we are in Chicago’s O’Hare airport, sitting on a hall floor for plug access, eating sandwiches we got from Detroit (The Earl of Sandwich-very British, and, according to them, the best in the world! Who knew?). I said, “I feel like airport bums.” Kyle replied, “I’m eating a sandwich off of the floor wearing the same clothes I wore yesterday. Face it, we ARE bums.”
Still in Chicago. Looks like the flight movie is “The Journey 2” starring “The Rock” Johnson (what is it with The Rock and terrible inflight movies? Kyle says that he must be trying for some kind of record. He also says that there has to be some sort of line that even The Rock won’t cross). I hope we make it on. Kyle said we might get to London by going around the world backwards (next stop Denver…Tokyo…etc.). He also said that if we make it onto the plane, and it flies for 4 hours, they have to take us there. They can’t turn back.
